Finding joy and intention in everyday moments, with Lee Ann Miller & Matt Beres
Grab Your Coffee
Welcome to These Are Good Days, an uplifting podcast about finding joy and intention in every day—whether it's ordinary or extraordinary. Listening feels like catching up with good friends over a cup of coffee: plenty of laughs, a little real talk, and a whole lot of heart.
We dive into honest conversations about mental health, shifting life seasons, navigating relationships, and learning how to shift our mindsets. We talk about faith in a down-to-earth, approachable way, and we humbly explore the big questions we don't have all the answers to yet. Through personal stories, a lot of laughs, and heartfelt connection, we hope to inspire you to slow down, cultivate gratitude, and see that these ordinary days are truly good days.
First things first: Lee Ann is deeply obsessed with butter, and hospitality is her love language.
She lives in a remodeled farmhouse tucked away in Ohio's Amish Country with her husband. When she isn't cooking on TV, she's soaking up life with her two grown boys and two daughters-in-love. Good food, a welcoming home and celebrating the simple things with family: that's her happy place.
Matt will tell you his true hobby isn't reading, it's buying books. He'll choose a deep conversation over small talk every time.
By day, he and his wife both work in education, and at home they're in the thick of raising three kids. In his downtime he loves to cook, travel and plan the next big adventure, ideally with a good charcuterie board close by.
Lee Ann and Matt go way back, and their friendship is the heart of the show. Lee Ann brings the warmth and "hype-woman" energy. Matt brings the honest, down-to-earth perspective. Together they make every episode feel like a seat at the kitchen table.
